Scraper conveyors are used for conveying powdered/ granular/lump non-cohesive bulk loads at a temperature up to 100oC in a wide variety of industrial sectors. The scraper conveyor comprises an enclosed mechanical trough consisting of consecutive interconnected sections and two lines of endless PC-100 traction chain moving inside with scrapers attached thereto. A tensioning device is used to tension the chains. The actuator comprises a gearmotor and a driving chain articulating the gearmotor shaft with the conveyor driving shaft.
